Prologue

Well, just to add to the excitement, here we are, a week from departure and the French Rail system and the air traffic controllers have gone on strike. 

Ann is apoplectic...

I'm not too worried, we will get there, we will have a fine time. We have researched other options for our flight to Paris, but for now it's looking like our flight will not be affected too badly by the strike. I'm confident that the rail system will be back to normal by the time we get there. 

Ann is worried...

But then that's her psyche, she needs to have every detail hashed out whereas I can take what comes. 

Time will tell, three days til we depart...
